Application Procedure

2. ADMISSIONS PRE-COMMITTEE

Once a complete application is received at IESE (application online, 3 recommendation letters, GMAT, TOEFL and photocopies of university transcripts and diplomas), the Admissions Committee will review the application and, where relevant, invite the candidate to a personal interview, or notify him or her that admission has been denied.

3. PERSONAL INTERVIEW

If, after an initial review of the application the Admissions Department decides to invite the candidate to a personal interview, he or she will be notified in writing. Interviews will preferably be held at IESE’s Campus in Barcelona. In the event the candidate is unable to travel to Barcelona, they will be asked to arrange their interviews with an IESE representative through videoconference or skype.

4. ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE

Once the interview report is received at IESE, the Admissions Committee meets again to review the application as a whole in order to reach a final decision. Decisions will be sent by e-mail. The Admissions Committee never communicates decisions over the telephone.

You’ll receive a phone call and email confirming the committee’s decision.

MRM Tuition

The financial support package includes the annual tuition fees of €30.000 for the MRM and €5.000 for the PhD and a yearly stipend to cover living expenses of €18.720 (gross amount).

To qualify for financial support, students are required to work as research assistants for at least 10 hours a week from their second year.

Note on Medical Insurance

Tuition fees include medical insurance, which is not refundable. Enrollment in the health plan commences the day classes begin. Spouses may be included in the plan for a nominal additional fee. The plan does not cover prescription drugs or medicines, or visits to the dentist.

Expenses

Cost of living: Living expenses in Barcelona are comparable to those in any major European city. IESE has no on-campus accommodation, but IESE can assist you to find accommodation with a list of apartments for rent and general advice on how to find lodgings.
